You will be working for our support team for Google which supports G Suite - an integrated suite of secure, cloud-native collaboration and productivity apps like Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar & Meet for Business clients.

Your role:
As a Technical Support Engineer your main responsibility will be to provide outstanding technical support. This support will be mainly focused on API related topics and networking environments on customer side.
The right person for the role will be able to follow a logical troubleshooting path, navigate through ambiguous problems, collect relevant information, create a hypothesis and test or reproduce issues without jumping to conclusions. You should be able to perform troubleshooting of systems or applications involving multiple technologies or protocols.

Hours and Benefits:
The full salary package will be starting at €29.110 Euros during the first year and increase to €31.125 Euros after finishing one year in the project.
The starting salary package will be as follows:
- Indefinido (Permanent) contract
- Salary: €24.570 gross/year Basic salary (increase after 1 year) + up to 3.000€ gross/year Bonus + Restaurant card (€1.540 per year)
- Working schedule: Full time (39 hours/week). Usual schedule is Monday-Friday 9am-6pm but it is possible you might need to work some weekends (depending on the need). Working on weekend is paid extra and the schedule is 6am-3pm
You bring to the table:
- Fluent English and you feel comfortable writing and speaking it
- European citizenship or work permit in Spain
- Confirmed solid troubleshooting skills (application performance, UNIX, Linux or Windows systems, networking and web protocols):
- Can follow a logical troubleshooting path, navigate through ambiguous problems, collect relevant information, create a hypothesis and test them without guessing or jumping to conclusions
- Can perform troubleshooting of systems or applications involving multiple technologies or protocols in the OSI stack, able to reliably establish root cause
- Understanding of Web technologies and protocols such as HTTP(S), TLS, cookies, SSO, DNS, HTML, SSH, APIs, SMTP
- Solid OS knowledge for either Windows or Linux systems
- Basic coding ability in one or more of the following: Java, C, C++, .NET, Python, Bash, Perl, JavaScript:
- Able to read example code, identify potential issues or test cases
