What if YOU starts your journey with US! As part of a school curriculum in initial training, you are looking for a mandatory internship or integrated into a gap year that will allow you to validate your studies.

You will join the Airbus Engineering Department leading the Integration of Engines to our Commercial Aircrafts. This is for a 6 Months internship to be based in Toulouse, France.

Additional details about the internship:

The main activities of the internship will articulate around:

• Developing support tools to support the activities of the various engine integration teams often based on leading edge NLP (Natural Language Processing) Technologies.
• You will work closely with customers to develop useful tools providing efficient solution to their concrete problems in line with Design thinking.
• You will be able to generalise solutions starting with a particular problem.
• You follow the Agile / DeveOps ways of working (e.g. gathering user needs, creating user stories then build & update associated technical specifications and architecture documents, creating good documentation, managing a project timeline).

• You will integrate your work with the teams on full development environment: Confluence; Gira; Github; GSuite.
• Assembling and editing source code repositories to develop a software stack for the product needs.
• Respecting the standards and requirements for the development of tools within the Airbus IT system.
• You will participate in all phases of product development lifecycle, including the analysis, design, test and integration of products.
• Deploying highly available, scalable, maintainable, monitored systems and services.
• Contributing to the implementation of tooling and industry best practices among development teams.
• Assisting (when possible) in the development of product user manuals.

Required skills

• You are preparing a Master Degree (Bac+5) in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• You have knowledge in IT Product Design & Development.
• Experience with Python & NLP techniques.
• Knowledge of the main libraries useful for AI (Keras, PyTorch or TensorFlow, Pandas, NLTK, Scikit-Learn) is key.
• Understanding of BERT, XLNet would be a bonus.
• Knowledge of AGILE Project Management would be a plus.
• User need definition and knowledge of Design Thinking is a bonus.
• Good team spirit and Interpersonal skills and Ability to analyse and synthesize.
• Advanced level in English; knowledge of French would be a plus.
